Here at Hamilton New Zealand, we expect all staff to abide by these rules with the utmost professionalism and in an orderly manner as these rules is what being staff include.
Expectations
We expect our staff to be honest, truthful, and professional while representing HNZRP. Our team expects you to always respect the community, your fellow staff members, and your superiors. We expect you to not be afraid to impose punishments or to seek assistance from your peers when necessary, as communication and teamwork are two essential skills for success on the team.
Professionalism
Hamilton New Zealand requires its staff members to maintain professional standards. You must act in a way that accurately represents our staff team as the best there is. This includes representing in Discord and in-game, both off and on duty.
Grammar
When on duty in-game as a member of staff, you must always use proper grammar and punctuation. While representing the staff team, you must ensure that the basics are followed. This means you should capitalize your sentences, use periods, and follow proper grammar throughout. Remember that speaking correctly is an important part of your professionalism as a staff member.
Quota
Activity is essential in the staff team. Every week, you are required to spend 3 hours in moderation. If you are unable to complete the hours, you may submit a Leave of Absence (LOA) Request, but please adhere to the Leave of Absence Policy. (The week will end and begin every Sunday.)
Respect
We expect you to respect everyone on our server. Even if they are annoying you, you must still show respect. If it is another staff member, simply open an Internal Affairs ticket, and Internal Affairs will handle it. This applies at all times, both on and off duty. Maintain a professional demeanour while on the Hamilton New Zealand staff team.
Four Letter Rule
While moderating on the server and using any commands that affect players, make sure to include the first four letters of their Roblox username. This ensures that there are no errors, such as ":kick all".
State Punishments & Reason/s
You must explain why users are being punished as well as the specific punishment. If you kick someone, you must explain why and how long they will be unable to rejoin (30 minutes to an hour, depending on the severity of the rule violation). You must do this with every punishment that you perform.
In-game Announcements
Unless you are an Internal Affairs member or above, you must use the in-game announcements provided. Internal affairs members are permitted to make professionally written in-game announcements as needed and only when necessary.
