SSD Guide

Before shutting the server down, please read everything below and follow these steps before doing so.

Make sure that there aren't any other staff members online.
Go to the staff request channel and make a support request for more staff members.
If nobody comes online after 15 minutes, then you would ping someone who has the Session Perms Role to request a server shutdown.

Once you get approval, you would paste the following in-game:

:m The server will be shutting down soon. Please finish off all your roleplays.

You would then wait 5-10 minutes after you send in the announcement. Once you have waited, proceed with the shutdown.

:m Thank all of you for joining today's session and we hope to see you in the next one. You can join our communications to see updates on when this server comes back up! You all will be kicked from the server shortly.

Once that message is sent you can now do the following command:

:kick all SSD.

You should always follow this guide when doing a session shut down, this is to ensure everything goes smoothly and all members in game are aware that the server is shutting down so that they don't think they have just got kicked randomly. Staff that do not follow this guide will receive an infraction depending on the severity.
