Welcome to the Internal Affairs Team

Internal Affairs values professionalism, respect, and integrity. Your role includes making our community welcoming to new players and punishing rule violators. To summarize, some of the rules and standards that you will be held to and judged on include your ability to handle tickets, professionalism, activity, and teamwork.

Tickets

We assure you that during your time in Internal Affairs, you will receive at least 5 report tickets. Here's a quick list of frequently asked questions about handling tickets.

• You are not permitted to speak in other people's tickets unless you have obtained permission from the ticket holder.
• You are also not to correct people in tickets; if you believe someone has made a mistake, tell them in IA chat rather than in the ticket.
• Review all of the evidence in tickets to ensure that the ticket is valid and contains valid evidence; if it does not, DO NOT start a poll on it; instead, inform them that you do not have enough valid evidence to take action.
• DO NOT talk in a ticket that is against, or involves you, a management member will review it shortly.

Professionalism

You are all internal affairs members; you are expected to act professionally both inside and outside of tickets, and to have respect and integrity for the team and community. You have the ability to strike and punish people, so you must set an example for others of how staff should behave both while moderating and when not on duty (if you're already a staff member). Punishments may be harsher on you because you are expected to set an example.
